A Table Fit for Frankenstein

Sometimes redesign can apply to a piece of furniture. Literally. That was the case with this particular project. We owned two tables, a contemporary one that fit our condo’s style but was too big to fit the space we needed to fill…

The second was a rectangular drop-leaf with formal, fancy legs that didn’t match our style. However, it was a perfect fit for our tight condo nook.

A monster-good solution was in order…

The obvious answer was to apply a Frankenstein technique using the best of both tables! Cut the legs off one, refinish the other to match, bolt it all together, wait for a perfectly timed lightning strike (ok, not a real step), and NEW LIFE is given to one table with equal parts style and size.

To quote Frankie: “Mmmmmm.”
